Description

Nuversys is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate R&D Food Technologist to lead our applications department.

In this position, you will be in charge of incorporating our technology into various food products based on standard food manufacturing processes.

In this position, you will also support clients in fluent technological issues and work closely with both the R&D department and clients.

Responsibilities

·       Design and execute enrichment process of varied food products with our technology in both lab environments, external pilot beta-sites and client’s facilities.

·       Working closely with both the R&D and marketing departments.

·       Writing of technical reports

·       Searching and purchasing of food manufacturing additives while conceding local regulations and requirements (kosher, halal, vegan etc.)

Requirements

·       Academic degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Food Engineering, or a related field

·       Proven experience as a Food Technologist in the food industry.

·       Experience in food products development and production - a must (milk products, meat, alternative proteins, fish, gummies, health bars – an advantage)

·       Strong knowledge of food processing, quality control, and regulatory compliance

·       Hands-on: working on every level of food product development

·       Excellent communication and collaboration skills

·       Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

·       Free working with scientific literature and documentation in English

·       Strong skills in Technical Support to customers from the industry

·       Fluent in Hebrew and a very good level of English

·       Full Proficiency in Microsoft Office
