Senior Data Scientist

We seek an exceptional Senior Data Scientist to spearhead data-driven innovations in a pioneering cancer research institute where groundbreaking research meets cutting-edge data science.

As a center of excellence, we stand at the critical intersection of medical data and advanced cancer research, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning and deep learning models to address complex challenges in cancer research.

Design, implement, and optimize image processing models, strongly emphasizing developing Deep Learning models using digital pathology slides, CT images, and MRI images.

Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary research team to design and execute innovative research methodologies.

Continuously explore and integrate the latest data science libraries and frameworks, such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, pandas, Numpy, and spaCy.

Essential Qualifications:

7+ years of hands-on industry experience in developing and fine-tuning machine learning and deep learning models.

5+ years of experience, specifically in developing Deep Learning models for digital pathology slides, as well as experience with CT and MRI images.

Proven expertise in using data science libraries and frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, pandas, Numpy, and spaCy.

Strong Python programming skills.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities, a proactive approach to self-learning, and a collaborative team-player mindset.

Expertise in natural language processing (NLP) techniques and frameworks is advantageous.

Advanced degree (MSc or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in the health or biomedical sectors.

Familiarity with healthcare data privacy and security guidelines.
