Senior DevOps

Exodigo seeks a highly experienced and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will lead the automation of our software development and deployment processes, ensuring the efficient, reliable, and secure delivery of applications. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Python, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices to build and maintain infrastructure, automate tasks, and contribute to a seamless development workflow. Job description:

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines using advanced tools like GitHub Actions.
• Lead the development and execution of Python scripts for infrastructure management, deployment tasks, and security automation.
• Be an expert in Docker containers and containerization, optimizing container builds and deployments for performance and security.
• Manage and contribute to code repositories in Git and participate in code reviews,ensuring code quality and security.
• Implement and utilize vulnerability scanning tools like Blackduck or Snyk to identify and mitigate security risks throughout the software supply chain.
• Proactively monitor system performance and health metrics, identifying and resolving issues before they impact production.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, security teams, and other engineers to ensure smooth integration, deployment, and secure operations.
• Stay ahead of the curve by actively researching and implementing the latest DevOps trends and technologies.
• Mentor junior team members and help them grow their DevOps skills and knowledge
  
  

• 5+ years of experience in a Senior DevOps or related role, with a proven track record of success.
• Extensive experience with Python development and automation.
• Deep understanding of Docker containerization and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Expertise in using Git, Gerrit, and GitHub, with a strong grasp of version control principles.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Extensive experience with agile development methodologies and principles.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively managing multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A passion for DevOps and a strong desire to continuously learn and grow.
• Experience with full-stack development and application security best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible and Terraform or Cloudformation, (CDK or CDKTF is a bonus)
• Experience with event sourcing patterns and AI integration.
