Job Overview

As the QA Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance methodologies to ensure the highest standards of our software. You will lead the QA team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and play a crucial role in delivering robust, reliable, and compliant software solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA processes, methodologies, and best practices for software testing in a LIMS environment.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex applications.
• Implement and manage automated testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for potential quality issues.
• Manage and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
• Provide regular status updates and quality metrics to stakeholders and management.
• Stay current with emerging QA methodologies, tools, and industry trends.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Expertise in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, ASQ).
• Knowledge of laboratory workflows and processes.
• Experience with performance testing and security testing.
