R&D researcher

Job Description:

The R&D Researcher will perform laboratory work requiring advanced technical skills and professional 

expertise. The primary focus will be on developing and applying 3D cell culture systems to study cancer 

biology, tumor microenvironments, and the efficacy of anti-cancer therapies (e.g., immunotherapy).

Requirements:

• Educational Background:

• PhD in Biology/Biotechnology/Life sciences with a focus on 3D cellular systems (an advantage)

and cancer-related research.

• Technical Expertise:

• Strong background in cancer biology and experience with in vitro cell culture techniques, 

including culture of primary human cells derived from cancer patients. 

• Experience with flow cytometry analysis, molecular biology techniques (e.g., ELISA, Western 

blotting, MSD technology), and imaging methods (e.g., time laps microscopy).

• Proficiency in developing and utilizing 3D cell culture models, including spheroids, tumoroids, 

organoids, and other tissue engineering approaches- an advantage.

• Prior experience in planning writing and executing experimental protocols.

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Highly motivated and creative, with a strong sense of initiative and enterprise.

• Communication Skills:

• Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven knowledge in Excel, Graph Pad and ELN – an advantage

• Location:

• The laboratory is located at Misgav Industrial Park and requires on-site attendance
