The Group

The CAD Group, in Samsung Israel R&D Center, is responsible for the definition and implantation of the development environments, methodologies and flows, for the Digital and Analog teams.

What will you do?

• Responsible for the integration of the various EDA tools to the working flow of the design teams.
• Responsible for the knowledge and methodology sharing between the local development team and Samsung HQ.
• Responsible for the resource management (Computing and Licensing) for the entire design teams.

Qualifications

• BSc./ MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Programming Proficiency: Excellent skills in Perl, Python, Shell, SKILL, TCL.
• Experience in development, maintenance and support of CAD environments.
• Experience with EDA vendors tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency with Unix-based environments, Shell Scripting and automation.
• Experience with revision control systems and data management – Perforce/ICManage Advantage
• Experience with Loading Sharing Facility (LSF) - Advantage
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Team player, positive, driven and fast learner
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
