Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Field Application Engineer who will focus on a specific Power Portfolio – especially Digital Power - at defined Global Accounts in Israel. This role will closely partner with a team of Field Application and Sales Engineers in the US and will also interface with our regional teams in EMEA.

Effective communication skills, diligence, and the ambition to solve complex technical issues at these important customers are key drivers for success in this role. The ideal candidate builds strong relationships with these strategic customers and can translate their technical needs into commercial success for Renesas.

The Job

• Provide technical expertise & support to develop Renesas revenues with key Global Account Customers in Israel, in close cooperation with the Global Renesas Sales team
• Solid technical understanding of our products and relevant solutions. Ability to demo products and get involved with system level design and in-depth technical support as required
• Identify new sockets for Renesas by working closely with customers at project design level to achieve design win targets
• Create, organize, update, and track opportunities and designs
• Develop a good understanding of customer products and market, supply and business requirements. Ability to communicate them clearly at all levels internally and highlight critical product needs
• Understand and communicate the competitive landscape within the focus customers and develop strategies compete successfully
• Travel within the assigned territory to customers
