We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Linux kernel development to join our cutting-edge team. This role is crucial in advancing our networking and system-level software solutions.

Job Description: As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Linux kernel development, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and optimizing kernel-level software for high-performance networking and data center technologies. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our products' efficiency, reliability, and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize Linux kernel modules for networking and system performance
• Design and implement advanced kernel-level features for networking protocols and algorithms
• Collaborate with hardware teams to develop and optimize device drivers
• Troubleshoot complex kernel-level issues and optimize system performance
• Contribute to upstream Linux kernel development when appropriate
• Mentor junior engineers in kernel development best practices
• Stay current with Linux kernel advancements and contribute to architectural decisions
  
  

• Proven experience of 5+ years in Linux kernel development, with a focus on networking subsystems
• Deep understanding of Linux kernel internals, including memory management, process scheduling, and I/O subsystems
• Extensive experience with kernel-level networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP stack, network drivers)
• Proficiency in C programming and familiarity with assembly language
• Strong background in one or more areas: Virtualization, Storage systems, Hardware offloads, Network acceleration, RDMA (including iWARP, RoCE, InfiniBand)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
