Job Description

The Molds & Tooling Team Leader is a major position in Arkal and it's involved in all of the key processes of the company's business. Therefore, the Molds & Tooling Team Leader is required to set the technical ground for the success of the projects at the following stages:

RFQ's- mold price, feasibility etc.

Nomination to full dim OK.

Successful launch at the production site, achieving R@R goals & handshake procedure.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Full responsibility over Molds and Tooling department in the following aspects:

• Molds and Tooling team - recruiting, training, and monitor activity. KPI's setting and follow up.
• Building department annual plan.
• Feasibility studies.
• Molds quotations.
• Allocation of molds makers.
• Nominating of molds makers.
• Global professional guidance to excellence.
• Global Molds and Tooling engineer support.

Full responsibility for the correct methodology of working in a global, project-focused company:

• Monitor the following of the defined procedure within the project, by both Molds and Tooling engineers and the related interfaces (Project Manager, Designer).
• Monitor the process in front of Arkal injection sites to assure easy launch.

Job Skills

• Excellent understanding and experience in injection molds, design and manufacturing.
• Deep know how in steel selection and hardening treatment.
• Understanding of Mold Flow analysis and its implications.
• Experience in management tool makers overseas.
• Excellent dialogue in English speaking, writing and using the main office tools such as Outlook, Excel & Power point.
• Mechanical Engineering degree (degree in Plastic engineering is an advantage).
• Very good CAD Capabilities in Cimatron. NX, Catia - advantage.
• Know-how and understanding automotive parts drawing and GD&T.
• Willingness for traveling overseas Europe, China and NA as much as needed.
• Up to 5 years' experience in plastic mold departments management position.
