DevOps Engineer

A startup company in the Storage field is developing a data platform for artificial intelligence. They have created the first storage platform entirely based on flash technology, which dominates all data storage for the private market and renders hard drives obsolete.

The unique aspect of their product is that it uses data compression algorithms to reduce costs for customers, allowing organizations to fully understand their data and generate new value.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, near the train station, and operates in a hybrid model with two work-from-home days. They have about 670 employees in total, 250 of whom are based in Israel.

The company has large international customers and has raised approximately $400 million, with a valuation of $9.1 billion! It is experiencing tremendous growth and offers excellent benefits while maintaining a startup-like atmosphere with a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and Maintain CI Infrastructure (GitLab CI and Jenkins).

• Manage, Maintain and Improve of Release and Development Environments.

• Support critical production infrastructure deployed in Multiple Clouds (AWS, Azure, and GCP).

• Develop and Support RnD toolchain and implement best practices for code deployment, testing, and maintenance.

• Automate On-Premises Labs Infrastructure by adopting IaC practices.

• Lead and Develop Monitoring, Telemetry, Alerting, and Logging Production services, which include but not limited to ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.

Requirements-

• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix Internals and experience with handling complex performance and configuration problems in Linux/Unix environment.

• Experienced with CI/CD tools and frameworks.

• Experience in DSL Configuration tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

• Experienced with programming languages (Python is preferred).

• Shell scripting experience.

• Experience with managing binary repositories (RPMs, Pypi, NPM and etc)
