Android Software Engineer

About BeeFree Agro:

BeeFree Agro, the 21st century herd management platform, is a rapidly growing startup and looking for an Android software engineer for developing drone flight control application for embedded DJI android controllers.

What will you do:

Join our team in developing an event driven asynchronized application to manage and control DJI drones during autonomous flight sessions. The stack includes an android application with an implementation of the DJI SDK with an event driven architecture.

This position is within the R&D department and reports to the VP R&D.

What we are looking for:

• Proven software development experience either in Java/Kotlin and Android skills development (+3)
• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Bug fixing and improving application performance
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Experience with 3rd party SDK – advantage
• Python knowledge – advantage
• Familiarity with the following concepts – advantage:
• Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, Dependency Injection (Hilt), Clean Architecture
