Summary:

The “Import / Export Administrator” will be based in ……., reporting to ……

In charge of performing the administrative tasks for tracking inbound and outbound shipments of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and maintain records on inbound and outbound shipments and invoices.
• Ensure that suppliers and/or brokers meet required performance indicators.
• Interface with transportation suppliers regarding rate management.
• Maintain high quality service levels for new and existing suppliers, customers, and transport lanes
• Interface with Trade Compliance and/or Customs Brokers directly to ensure appropriate transport flows and requirements met.
• Support cost and quote forecasting with partnership of Finance.
• Produce reoccurring reports as directed by business management.
• Organize regular business reviews for all suppliers.
• Responsible of standards and disciplines for transport operations.
• Ensure compliance of supplier contracts and pricing.
• Partner with business management and Trade Compliance as inconsistencies arise.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Typically requires completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent.
• Typically requires 6+ years of related experience.
