About the Role:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial Founding AI Product Developer/Manager to help bring Soundly to life. This individual will play a key role in shaping the platform's technical direction, developing AI-driven features, and ensuring the feasibility of the product's long-term vision. You will work closely with our leadership team to build a world-class AI platform that serves the needs of content creators, offering advanced audio processing, content management, and analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Soundly's core features, with a strong emphasis on AI-driven audio processing, content management, and analytics.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and translate business goals into technical requirements.
• Drive the entire software development lifecycle, from architecture and design through deployment and ongoing maintenance, ensuring the highest standards of code quality and performance.

AI/ML Innovation:

• Work closely with AI/ML teams to design, integrate, and optimize advanced AI algorithms for audio enhancement, transcription, and content classification.
• Prototype, test, and iterate on AI features, including automatic audio processing, title generation, episode summaries, and more.
• Explore and implement emerging AI technologies to continuously improve the platform's performance, scalability, and user experience.

Team Management:

• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering and AI development.
• Manage project timelines, ensuring that milestones are met on time and within budget.

Product Vision & Strategy:

• Contribute to the long-term vision and strategy for Soundly, ensuring that technical decisions align with the company’s business objectives.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, machine learning, and audio processing, ensuring that Soundly remains at the forefront of podcasting innovation.

Collaboration:

• Partner with the DevOps team to implement CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient deployment and minimizing downtime.
• Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure that the platform meets user needs and exceeds expectations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Proven experience in building and scaling SaaS platforms, particularly those leveraging AI/ML.
• Strong background in audio processing, AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and data analytics.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the media or podcasting industry, with a deep understanding of audio technologies.
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects, particularly in the audio processing domain.
• Familiarity with user-centric design and UX principles.
