Senior Manual QA Engineer

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer with a strong focus on SQL query testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications. The role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans and cases for web applications.
• Test SQL queries to verify data integrity and business logic.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Perform regression and cross-browser testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and improve product quality.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in manual web application testing with a focus on SQL.
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with manual testing tools (like JIRA and Trello for tasks management.)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic knowledge of test automation and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
