Director of Product Management - AI Platform

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Product Management to join our product group. As the Director of Product Management for Windward’s AI platform, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data-driven solutions. You’ll be responsible for the data pipelines that feed our AI models and various products and be responsible for our algorithms and AI models that enhance, fuse, and generate insights from the data. In addition, you’ll define our platform's strategy, roadmap, and delivery to ensure the quality of our data and the performance of our AI model. You’ll also work closely with our Engineering, Data Science, Data Strategy, Delivery, and, of course, with the product managers.

You’ll start with hands-on work and build the new team as we go, reporting directly to Windward’s VP of Product.

What will you do?

• Manage the data for our data pipelines with over 20 different sources
• Own the development of base models, including data fusion and AI-based behavioral models
• Identify new data opportunities that can support the company's products, AI and Gen AI models
• Manage the process of defining new core algorithms and improving the current ones
• Become a product expert and build a vision to evolve the platform, serve our clients, and grow revenue
• Drive Windward's Platform development by prioritizing and managing the product backlog. This will ensure we solve the most important problems and deliver value to our users
• Lead the development and productization of APIs that expose the data to internal consumers and customers

Who are you?

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within AI or data-centric platforms
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, AI models, and algorithm development
• Experience working together with both Data Scientists and Backend Engineers - defining and executing research and analysis projects
• Proven ability to manage complex projects
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across various departments
• Ex-navy/ Intelligence unit - An advantage
• Experience with Gen AI tools - an advantage
