Senior Product Manager

Genoox is a rapidly growing venture-backed startup on a mission to optimize the clinical and research decision process using data-driven insights by building the first-of-its-kind crowdsourced genetic community. We combine AI and real-world evidence and connect genetic professionals which together can answer clinical and research-oriented questions involving genetic information.

You will be responsible for:

As a Product Manager at Genoox, you will take a leading role in shaping the future of our genetic clinical analysis software. Your journey begins with prototyping new features, where your creativity and attention to detail will play a key role in bringing innovative ideas to life. You will manage the full product lifecycle, ensuring that each phase, from inception to release, is handled with expertise and precision.

As the product owner, you will take complete ownership of your projects, serving as the go-to expert and decision-maker. This role requires a strategic mindset, as you will be responsible for building and maintaining the product roadmap, aligning it with our company’s vision and the ever-evolving market landscape.

As part of this role, you will: 

• Develop and articulate a clear product strategy and vision, crafted to address customer pain points, supported by market research, and in line with the company’s business objectives.
• Create and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and tasks within a dynamic and agile development environment.
• Oversee the complete journey of product development and evolution. Work with multidisciplinary teams in research and development.
• Engage with Genoox customers and work with them to map out the challenges and requirements of users, converting insights into actionable product features.
• Support cross-functional stakeholders such as sales, marketing, and delivery teams in their interactions with customers and users.
• Educate cross-functional stakeholders about product updates to ensure seamless deployments and rollouts.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of work experience as a product manager in a software company. Previous experience in biotechnology – a big advantage.
• High communication skills and capable of understanding the functional aspects of a complex system.
• Experience in Agile practices and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), with the ability to guide and implement these effectively in a product development setting.
• Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Asana, or Trello for managing product development sprints.
• Understanding and hands-on experience with prototyping and wireframing tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with bioinformatic tools and products – an advantage.
