Job Description

A successful, fast-growing company that develops multi-disciplinary systems, is looking for a Quality Manager.

As a Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our cutting-edge systems. Your focus will be on defining and implementing robust quality processes across engineering and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Process Definition:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish clear quality standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Develop and document quality management processes for all R&D disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.

1. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough inspections and audits throughout the product lifecycle.
• Monitor and evaluate quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues promptly.

1. Supplier Quality Management:

• Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of components and materials.
• Establish quality criteria for supplier selection and ongoing performance evaluation.

1. Process Improvement:

• Continuously assess and enhance quality processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive the integration of lean methodologies.

1. Quality Training and Education:

• Train team members on quality standards, best practices, and quality control techniques.
• Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.

1. Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks related to quality and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure quality milestones are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a multi-disciplinary systems company.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) and quality tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Certification in Quality Management is a plus.
