Vice President Finance

Responsibilities:

· Define, plan, and execute the Company's global Shared Services strategy.

· Design and implement an optimized global tax strategy and design internal control procedures ensuring overall tax compliance

· Oversee global accounting policies and the efficient and accurate adoption of IFRS new guidelines

· monthly and quarterly financial closing process. Define and implement technology and methods to reduce the Company's monthly close cycle to 7 business days post-month-end.

· Design and implement effective year-end audits with liaison with the Company's external auditors.

· Partner with the divisional and BU finance to ensure an effective internal control environment

· Design and implement the Company's global accounting function readiness for an IPO and related internal control environment (SOX)

· Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.

· Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the finance department, promoting accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement.

· Serve as a trusted advisor to the organization's leaders on accounting and taxation-related matters to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

· Chartered Accountancy / Certified Public Accountant qualification

· Extensive experience (10 to 15 years) in financial leadership roles, preferably as a VP of Finance or in a similar capacity within a global and public industrial manufacturing organization (plastics, packaging, or agribusiness-related businesses preferred).

· Strong working understanding and knowledge of multiple regions around the world, with international working experience

· Extensive experience (at least 10 years of work) in an accounting shared services structure. Preferrable – formed an accounting shared services and effectively transitioned in-house accounting processes to an SSC

· Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (US GAAP and IFRS), accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.

· Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and enhance shareholder value.

· Solid understanding of mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and integration processes.

· Languages: English at a high level. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong communicator who can communicate and lead change in a global environment
