Overview

The role at Skyline Robotics involves validating and verifying our complex, multidisciplinary system, encompassing hardware, software, algorithms, mechanics, and more.

Responsibilities

• Take part in the validation and verification team of Skyline Robotics product from prototype phase and to final product.
• Maintain and develop state of the art V&V flows, tools, and methodology, meeting the robotic industry standards.
• Be Skyline Robotics’ software gatekeeper for the quality of the products.
• You will drive the system-level design, testing, and integration of the software in the robotic system, which includes software, algorithmics, control, robotics & mechanics.
• You will work across engineering teams and will implement a software system design that meets system-level and certification requirements.
• You will be responsible for how the software is validated, and certified in the robotic system.
• You will take part in writing integration tests and simulations in C++ and Python on the ROS platform.

Requirements

• BSc in Electrical Engineering\Mechatronics Engineering\Computer Science from leading universities.
• MSc\PhD – advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Strong experience with test plans for multi-disciplinary systems.
• Experience with CI\CD procedures.
• Experience in C++, Python, Node.JS, WEB technologies - advantage.
• Experience in ROS1 & ROS2 environments - advantage.
• Experience in industrial robots, control theory, PLC programming - advantage.
• Background in robotics, automotive, or medical – advantage.
• Background in communication protocols as EthernetIP, EtherCAT – advantage.
• MSc\PhD – advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Team player and highly motivated.
