Pixellot’s automated sports production solutions revolutionize traditional video capture, production and distribution processes, enabling professional and amateur sports organizations to affordably cover and monetize their events. As a AI Research Scientist, you will have a direct impact on the company's innovation and success, playing a crucial role in advancing our core AI capabilities.

As part of your role, you will:
Conduct cutting-edge research and develop novel AI algorithms, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision-Language Models (VLMs), and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
Design, implement, and evaluate deep learning models for various applications, including advanced computer vision tasks.
Contribute to the entire research lifecycle, from theoretical exploration and experimental design to proof-of-concept development and integration into our products.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to translate research prototypes into robust and scalable solutions.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI research, contributing to publications and internal knowledge sharing.
You should bring with you:
M.Sc degree from a prominent academic institute in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent).
Proven industry or research experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision-Language Models (VLMs), and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
Strong theoretical and practical understanding of deep learning, particularly for computer vision tasks.
Excellent programming skills, with strong proficiency in Python.
Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
Familiarity with the HuggingFace Transformers library and ecosystem.
Demonstrated ability for independent research, problem-solving, and self-learning.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience with deployment of AI models to production environments.
Familiarity with other deep learning platforms (e.g., Pytorch, Keras).
