What you’ll achieve:

The Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritizing the features and functionality of the Outseer solutions. They make sure the products match what users want and what the company aims for. They work closely with stakeholders, including business owners, users, and the development team, to gather requirements, manage the product backlog, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality value-adding software solutions. Acting as the bridge between the team that makes the products and the people who use them. They guide the creation of important features and improvements using a flexible approach. Their responsibilities cover a range of tasks, from understanding what users need to deciding which things to work on first. They make sure the final product is something users will be really happy with.

This role requires a deep understanding of Agile & SAFe principles, strong communication and leadership skills, a good knowledge of the fraud and payments domain and a passion for creating exceptional software products.

Essential Duties

User-Centric Approach:
Advocate for the user community by deeply understanding their needs, pain points, and aspirations.
Collaborate with stakeholders and users to gather and define clear and actionable product requirements.
Feature Prioritization and Road mapping:
Develop and maintain a well-defined product backlog, outlining features and enhancements based on customer value and business goals.
Prioritize user stories and backlog items, ensuring alignment with product vision and objectives.
Agile Development Leadership:
Serve as the voice of the customer within agile development teams, guiding them through sprint planning, execution, and review.
Break down product features into actionable user stories, refining them based on team input and feasibility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with development, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure a shared understanding of product goals and requirements.
Facilitate communication between teams to resolve questions and clarify requirements.
Iteration and Adaptation:
Participate in sprint reviews and retrospectives to evaluate work outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
Adapt and adjust product features and priorities based on feedback and changing market dynamics.
Customer Engagement:
Engage with customers through feedback sessions, surveys, and user testing to continuously gather insights and validate product direction.
Provide regular updates to customers on product progress and gather their input on upcoming features.
Documentation and Communication:
Collaborate with documentation teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive product documentation, including user guides and release notes.
Communicate product updates and changes to internal teams, stakeholders, and customers.
Quality Assurance and Value Delivery:
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure the delivered product meets the specified requirements.
Ensure that the delivered features provide tangible value to customers and align with business objectives.

Desired Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience – Software / Banking).
6+ years’ experience as a product owner (or relatable areas like CS) within Banking, financial, consulting or software industries.
Strong record in delivering complex software products through agile
Proven experience as a software product owner or in a similar product management
In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and make data-driven
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice
Familiarity with software development processes and
Experience working with Agile project management tools like Jira or
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet
A proactive and self-motivated attitude, passionate about delivering high-quality software
