Summary:

Energean is seeking to employ Commercial Analyst to join our team in Israel. This role involves analysing commercial and financial data supporting business decision-making and contributing to the optimization of Energean’s commercial agreements and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with the commercial, finance and operational teams to ensure effective business planning and performance tracking.

Key Accountabilities:

• Market & Business Analysis: Conduct research on energy markets, industry trends, and competitor activity to provide insights that support commercial decision-making.
• Commercial Agreements & Contracts: Support the structuring, evaluation, and monitoring of commercial agreements, including gas sales contracts, partnerships, and procurement deals.
• Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial and commercial models to assess project viability, pricing strategies, and cost efficiencies.

• Performance Tracking & Reporting: Analyse and track key commercial metrics, prepare reports for senior management, and provide recommendations to enhance business performance.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, operations) and external stakeholders (partners, suppliers, regulators) to ensure smooth execution of commercial activities, as well as interface with clients.
• Risk & Compliance: Identify commercial risks and support compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Excel, SAP
• 2-5 years of experience in a commercial, financial, or analytical role, preferably within the energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors.
