Bookkeeper and Payroll Controller (Tel Aviv)

Bookkeeper maintain financial records, process accounts payable and receivable by posting information to the Priority accounting system, manage invoices and tax payments, reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy and oversee bank reconciliations on a weekly basis and cash disbursements. The position takes responsibility over the payroll process; preparing, analyzing, submitting, recording and reporting the salary and related expenses. Various tasks performed: 1. Payments process 2. Month closing tasks 3. Prepare monthly cash flow planning, oversee and manage cash balances and requirements accordingly 4. Ensure that receivables are collected promptly 5. Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirement 6. Maintain the chart of accounts 7. Maintain the petty cash fund 8. Payroll Certified Bookkeeper (Type 3 or higher) Certified Payroll Accountant and/or Certified Payroll Professional 5 years of bookkeeping experience, Hi Tech Company – must 3 year Experience in payroll Solid working knowledge of payroll, including payroll tax, Social insurance and compliance. English at an advanced level (both spoken and written) Experience with ERP systems – must (Priority – advantage) Experience with Payroll software – must (‘Dokka’ – advantage) Basic skills in Microsoft Excel – must Ability to work independently in accordance with established policies and regulations Able to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to prioritize workload Diligent and methodic
