Electrical Engineer - Kiryat Gat

Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for the plant electrical systems - including: distribution systems from site main substation at 161KV down to H.V, M.V
systems at 22KV, 6.6KV and down below to various low voltages systems as LVSSs (Low Voltage Substations), UPSs, Emergency generators, Motor Control Centers, Variable Speed Drives and more.

You will be responsible for the systems reliability, capacity, redundancy and
efficiency.
You will be expected to drive continuous improvements to these systems.
As part of the job, you will also participate in different site technology projects
design, construction and commissioning.
In addition, you will be requested to fully lead electrical projects from design to construction and commissioning of new systems.

Qualifications

Minimun requirements

Bsc in Electrical Engineering

Israeli Electrical license: "Engineer - Hasmelahi Mehandes" is a MUST.

More than 4 years of experience in engineering support to and/or operation of electrical systems in the industry. Preferred experience at industrial plants with private 161KV, or 400KV substation.

Additional qualifications include:

Knowledge at plants electrical systems design principles, HV/MV switching procedure principles, protections selectivity and coordination principles.

Deep technical engineering knowledge with good analytical and problem-solving skills.

High leadership and influence capabilities.

Good ability to work independently and a good teamwork.

Ability to work under pressure, and manage tasks based on priorities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Hebrew and in English.

High safety mindset.

Customer orientation approach

Knowledge and usage of Microsoft office and engineering design applications.
