In this role you will have the opportunity to work closely with various levels of the organization and play a major role in defining our revenues accounting, revenue policy and compliance, as well as taking part and leading processes related to accounting, business and process automation.This position is based at our office in Netanya.As a Revenues Assistant Controller at JFrog, you will…Assist with month-end closing processes, including monthly revenue recognition and commission capitalization in compliance with ASC 606, monthly revenue analytics and deferred revenue account reconciliationsServe as one of the finance organization's revenue accounting subject matter expertsCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Sales Operations AR, IS, Legal, to support the ongoing business needs around revenue recognition and ARRProactively identify areas for process improvement and partner with other departments to streamline the processes related to revenue and create best practices and controls across the organizationReview contracts in order to apply the appropriate revenue recognition method and ARR in accordance with relevant accounting literature and the Company's revenue recognition policyAssist with updating the company's revenue recognition policy on a yearly basis, and at other times as well if neededWork closely with the company's SOX team and external auditors to ensure approved revenue policies are adhered to and monitored, and prepare schedules and reports for the annual audit, ensuring that all revenue deliverables are metAssist with ad hoc tasks as needed, both revenue and business-related To be Assistant Controller, Revenues at JFrog you need…CPA with Big 4 experience (preferably SaaS companies' Audit or Professional department).Experience in the tech industry (especially in the revenue team) is an advantageWorking knowledge and experience with ASC 606 is an advantageDetail-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skillsPositive, hands-on and proactive approach to problem solvingWorking knowledge and approach to financial systems such as NetSuite, SalesForce and Zuora is a big plusOutstanding interpersonal and communication skillsExceptional business partnering skills, with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and at various levels within a companyHighly proficient in ExcelBI Dashboard building capabilities (Tableau) is a big plus
