Head of Global Logistics

The Head of Global Logistics leads Adama’s global logistics strategy and execution, ensuring a resilient, cost‑competitive, and compliant end‑to‑end logistics network. The role combines global governance with direct operational responsibility for Israel logistics, supporting manufacturing and commercial operations worldwide in a highly dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Global Logistics Leadership

Define and execute the global logistics strategy aligned with business and supply chain priorities.
Design and optimize the global logistics network, service levels, and modes of operation.
Establish global policies, standards, KPIs, and governance for logistics operations.
Lead risk management and response to global logistics disruptions.

Global Operations & Cost Management

Ensure end‑to‑end visibility and performance across international shipping, inland transportation, warehousing, and 3PLs.
Own the global logistics budget and drive cost transparency, productivity, and continuous optimization.
Lead global logistics transformation and cost‑reduction initiatives in partnership with Procurement and other stakeholders.

Processes, Systems & Organization

Act as business owner for global logistics processes and enabling systems
Lead the global logistics community, including dotted‑line oversight of regional and country logistics leaders.
Establish and drive a Global Logistics Center of Excellence.

Israel Logistics – Direct Responsibility

Direct line responsibility for Israel logistics operations, including teams, budgets, and service providers.
Full accountability for:
Import logistics for Israel manufacturing sites and commercial units (~6,000 TEU annually).
Export logistics to global markets and ex‑Israel manufacturing sites (~10,000 TEU annually).
Inland transportation (port‑to‑plant, DC‑to‑plant, last‑mile).
Third‑party warehousing and storage operations.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or similar (MBA preferred).
10–15+ years of senior experience in global logistics or supply chain roles.
Proven leadership of complex international logistics networks and budgets.
Strong background in international shipping, customs, warehousing, and inland transportation.
Experience working in global, matrix organizations.
