Big Data Engineer - IT

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing workflows.
Build and optimize data storage, ingestion, and transformation solutions.
Support large-scale data platforms and ensure data quality and reliability.
Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams on data-driven initiatives.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance.

Requirements

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend development
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, or similar
Experience with SQL, ETL processes, and distributed data systems
Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies
Experience within Software and IT industries - Advantage
Experience with Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Hadoop, or similar tools
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices
