Your work will bridge cutting-edge research with reliable, secure, high-performance systems powering the next generation of digital intelligence products.ResponsibilitiesOwn the technical vision of the platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and long-term maintainabilityLead the design and development of backend services and APIs for SaaS applications using Node.js and TypeScript (or Python where appropriate)Architect and oversee microservices and distributed systems optimized for production scaleDrive cloud-native architecture using AWS services and Kubernetes (EKS)Define best practices for infrastructure as code using Terraform and HelmTeam Leadership & DeliveryLead, mentor, and grow a team of platform engineersProvide hands-on technical guidance, design reviews, and code reviewsPlan and execute work in an agile environmentCollaborate closely with research, product, security, and engineering teamsRequirements:Requirements8+ years of backend, platform, or infrastructure engineering experienceAt least 3 years of experience leading engineering teamsStrong experience balancing hands-on development with leadership responsibilitiesExperience mentoring senior and mid-level engineers and supporting their technical growthAbility to set engineering standards, best practices, and coding guidelines across the teamExperience working closely with product, research, security, and DevOps/SRE teamsStrong understanding of operational excellence, including incident management, on-call practices, and post-mortemsProven expertise in: Backend development (Node.js / Python preferred), Microservices and distributed architectures, Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure), API design and integration, Performance optimization and system scalabilityStrong hands-on experience with AWS servicesExperience with Go (Golang) is an advantageB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or related fieldStrong leadership and communication skillsOffice Location:Petah Tikva
