Product Manager

We’re looking for a highly motivated and eager product manager to join our programmatic demand product team. In this role, you will help bridge the gap between our customers, partners, internal business teams and an enthusiastic group of developers to deliver state of the art solutions in an agile environment.

A day in the life

Strategically develop and execute the product roadmap for OPA, ensuring that each MVP iteration is truly viable, delivering immediate value to our clients while setting the stage for future enhancements.
Maintain a laser focus on programmatic advertising innovations to inform and inspire product development, thereby reinforcing Outbrain's leadership in the market.
Cultivate persistent engagement with stakeholders across the company, championing a shared vision and cultivating a deep understanding of stakeholder needs and expectations.
Empower and rally engineering teams as a motivational force, setting clear goals and benchmarks, underlining the business value of each release, and ensuring momentum and enthusiasm for project work.
Rigorously manage the product backlog by weighing the importance of new features against the urgency of market demands and strategically pushing for a balance between speed and stability.
Foster an agile development culture that prioritizes rapid iteration without sacrificing the fundamental quality that our clients rely on.
Implement a data-driven approach to guide product decisions, leveraging insights from customer feedback, competitive analysis, and performance metrics.

What you’ll bring

Multiple (4+) year experience in product management is needed for this senior level role. Ideally you have gathered this experience either in a product role within an SSP or DSP, or within an adtech company within the programmatic advertising space.
Highly organized person with strong project management capabilities, who can set priorities to deliver projects on-time and within scope. Experience with different agile methodologies will be helpful to create an optimal working environment that is high performing.
Proven analytical skills, bring a data-led, metrics-focused approach to solving problems.
Capable of discussing technical aspects of the products and requirements with engineering teams, feel comfortable in complex, multi-interfaces systems.
A strong, trustworthy character with the ability to inspire both team members to think outside the box and view the world differently. An energetic and engaging figure that people enjoy working with. A natural team player who has an inclusive approach but also the leadership skills to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of programmatic advertising and Real Time Bidding. Experience in a product-related role within an adtech company is a definite plus.
