Jr. Analytics Engineer

Description

This role is focused on building and optimizing data pipelines, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and supporting analytics initiatives across the organization. You’ll work closely with the Data Analytics & Engineering team and business stakeholders to ensure our data is reliable, accessible, and ready for analysis.

Developing and implementing data analyses and data collection systems

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize data models and transformation pipelines using Databricks, SQL, and Python.
Collaborate with analysts and business teams to understand requirements and deliver clean, well-documented datasets.
Support the creation of dashboards and ad hoc reports in Power BI, enabling teams to monitor performance and customer satisfaction.
Acquire, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Identify trends and patterns in complex data sets to support business decisions and process improvements.
Document data flows, models, and processes for transparency and knowledge sharing.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience with SQL, Python, and data modeling concepts.
Exposure to BI tools (Power BI preferred) and dashboard/report creation.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for learning new technologies.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with global teams and presenting findings.
Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, or cloud data platforms.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and modern data stack concepts is an advantage.
