VP R&D

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Define and implement the engineering strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives and product roadmap.
• Coach and grow engineering leaders by offering guidance and support to help them reach their professional objectives.
• Keep top management and senior external stakeholders informed about the company’s technical capabilities and future direction.
• Recruiting employees on a large scale for the R&D department.
  
  

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex, distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns, and best practices in software development.
• Experience with additional cloud platforms
• Proactive approach, initiative and patience while working under pressure
• Extensive experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Proficient in acquiring new technologies
• Experienced in employee recruitment
