Company Description

Negev Energy - Operation & Maintenance is responsible for managing the Ashalim thermo-solar power plant located in the Negev Desert. The plant is Israel's largest renewable energy project, with a capacity of 121 MW, providing clean energy to over 60,000 households and helping reduce CO2 emissions. This role plays a vital role in supporting Israel's national target of generating 10% of its power from renewable sources by 2020.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Field Operator at the Ashalim thermo-solar power plant. The Field Operator will be responsible for day-to-day activities related to the operation and maintenance of the facility, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency of the plant's operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in operation and maintenance of power plants, renewable energy facilities, or similar environments
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Strong technical skills and familiarity with plant operations
• Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor environments
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Relevant technical certification or degree in Engineering or related field
