Job Description:

Limay is seeking a WordPress Developer to contribute to the growth and success of our media ventures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building WordPress sites from scratch, including both the design and implementation of HTML/CSS. In addition to developing and designing WordPress sites, the candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining WordPress plugins. This role requires a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design responsive WordPress websites from the ground up.
• Implement HTML/CSS and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Create, edit, and maintain custom WordPress plugins to extend site functionality.
• Collaborate with the design team to transform wireframes and mockups into fully functional websites.
• Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoot content issues.
• Optimize website for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
