Analysis Team Leader

A large financial company is looking for an Analysis Team Leader in the AI and Data Department

As the Analysis Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of data analysts, ensuring that their work provides actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. Your role will involve overseeing the analysis of large datasets, developing data-driven strategies, and ensuring that the insights generated by your team are aligned with the company’s business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data engineers, product managers, R&D teams, and business leaders, to ensure that analytical insights are effectively integrated into product development, operations, and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts, providing technical, methodological, and business guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality output and professional growth.
• Oversee the team’s workflow, ensuring that analytical projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the maintenance of structured and standardized work methodologies in the field of data analytics, ensuring consistency and enhancing data-driven business decision-making.
• Foster a collaborative environment where team members can share knowledge, tools, and techniques to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Oversee the analysis of complex datasets to extract actionable insights that drive business growth, optimize operations, and enhance customer experiences.
• Initiate, develop and implement data-driven strategies that support product development, customer service enhancement, operational efficiency, and customer retention.
• Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and ensure that insights are aligned with business goals.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations that can be easily understood and implemented by non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data insights into business processes, product development, and strategic decision-making.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and methodologies in data analysis and analytics.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven experience in managing and mentoring a team of data analysts, with a strong track record of delivering actionable insights.
• Expertise in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of data analytics methodologies, statistical analysis, and data modeling techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
