New Product Introduction Engineer

Job Description:

• Lead all engineering activities in operations, both in relation to development activities within the organization and with suppliers/subcontractors.
• Support products and projects from the early development stages to mass production.
• Establish product trees and production files.

Responsibilities:

• Synchronize and monitor project progress; act as the Point of Contact (POC) in operations with the program manager and project manager in development.
• Provide close support for prototype assembly during development and prepare materials for transition to production.
• Review and approve mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of ASME, ANSI/IPC standards (ASME Y14.100, IPC-A-630).
• Work with subcontractors for production and resolve issues on production lines.
• Manage procurement to obtain quotes, ensure a smooth transition from development to production, and oversee product engineering and assemblies.
• Define and draft cables for the company's products.
• Execute and manage engineering change orders.
• Write assembly production files in English.
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards REACH, RoHS & WEEE for the company's products.

Requirements:

• Mechanical/Electronics Engineer or Technician (preference for Mechanical Engineer or Technician).
• Over 3 years of experience in similar companies.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-organizational activities.
• Extensive and in-depth technical background in mechanics and enclosures, including the review and approval of drawings.
• Extensive and in-depth technical background in electronics and printed circuit boards.
• Broad knowledge of Solidworks EPDM applications.
• Experience with Priority ERP system.
• Extensive knowledge of OFFICE applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• High-level English proficiency.
