Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help scale our operations to the next level.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our engineering team working closely with all stakeholders to enhance infrastructure, streamline development processes, and ensure the reliability and efficiency of our services.

Responsibilities

• Secure, scale, and manage our cloud environments (AWS and Azure)
• Design and implement automation solutions for development and production environments
• Build and deploy automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions
• Manage our continuous integration and delivery pipelines to ensure the timely safe release
• Lead and implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
• Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement
• Build, manage and be responsible for our platform’s up-time, infrastructure, scale and costs
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of the cloud-based infrastructure
• Lead the adoption of best practices in DevOps, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the DevOps team members
• Work closely with other engineers (Backend, QA) in the company to integrate new deployment processes and strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to identify and implement DevOps solutions that support business objectives

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience
• 5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (K8s/EKS/AKS)
• Expertise with Terraform for AWS or Azure deployments & Helm.
• Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• Experience with relational databases: Redis, MongoDB, ElasticSearch
• In-depth knowledge of build/release systems, CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps - advantage, GitHub actions, Argo…)
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Knowledge of networking, load balancing server, and application-status monitoring tools
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in a cloud environment
• Able to quickly learn new and existing technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently and remotely, but as part of a team.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
