You’ll be part of our Epp Platform Group

Cybereason is looking for an experienced and passionate Backend manager to join our epp platform group. The endpoint platform group is a highly important centralized team that has a key responsibilities for our products and our products innovation.

It includes many domains of the product - observability, deployment, response and dfir, vulnerability management, and management of the sensors.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the growth of a highly important and professional team
• Lead, mentor and support the growth of talented engineers
• Leading engineering team with different skills - java, react, python, c++ and more
• Be an integral part in the planning of our products vision and roadmap
• Take full responsibility and ownership on the cloud components from conception, development, quality to post-deployment
• Be a technological authority and a hands-on contributor
• Design, develop and deploy microservices with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability with high throughput
• Build and maintain multi-tenant scalable microservices run as part of a SaaS product
• Collaborate closely with other managers, software architects and product managers, to identify and solve challenging issues
• Work with experienced and highly talented engineers in a CI/CD environment with cutting edge technologies.

Requirements

• Experience with leading 5+ engineering teams.
• Experience as Java/Python/C++ Engineering Team Leader (at least 3 years)
• Experience as Java/Python/C++ Software Engineer (at least 7 years)
• Experience in Software Design, OOP and Microservices development
• Experience designing and maintaining large scale SaaS applications
• Experience building performant RESTful APIs at scale for usage as public/internal APIs
• Experience with system design and data structures
• Experience working in a containerized environment with Kubernetes
• Experience working in Cloud environments (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• Experience in designing and building multi-tenant and scalable microservice systems
• Experience working with relational DBs, NoSQL DBs, Caching technologies and message queue technologies
• Experienced with agile development methodologies
• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent knowledge
• Team player, accountable, dedicated, and passionate
• Advantage: familiar with other related cybersecurity solutions
