System Validation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on, System Validation Engineer to join our team in Kfar-Sava.

The role includes:

• Functional tests of Networking / Compute Edge servers
• Integration tests for new systems (functional tests, stability tests, regression tests, and performance tests)
• Test Networking Edge/servers/
• Write and execute manual and automated tests for Compute / Networking L2/L3.
• Problem reporting and verification of problem resolution.
• Work closely with R&D and architecture teams to push bug fixes.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting and Python – Must
• Good knowledge of Linux – Must
• Adept at documentation practices

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Communication Systems, or Electronic Engineer with majors in Computer Science
• Practical engineer with Equivalent experience

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as a QA network engineer
• Deep knowledge of ethernet protocols, especially L2/L3
• Experience with software management systems
• Hands-on experience with Ethernet Switches: Cisco/Arista, L2/L3 switching and routing.
• Experience with IXIA/Spirent traffic generators
• Experience with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc., an advantage.
• 2+ years of experience in the design of experiments and experiments execution (focus on safety and statistical validity of results), an advantage.
• Interface with devices using SPI, I2C, and GPIO protocols.
