Generative AI Technology Leader

About the Company:

We are a Generative AI startup based in Tel Aviv, recently backed by a substantial seed investment. We are a team of 10, our founders have already built 2 successful companies and we have paying customers.

About the Role:

We seek a hands-on, visionary tech executive with a strong business orientation and deep experience in Generative AI and software engineering. This leader will play a crucial role in shaping our technology strategy, driving innovation, and scaling our engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop (Hands-on) and execute the company’s technology strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven products.
• Build and manage a high-performing engineering team.
• Oversee technical infrastructure, ensuring scalability and security.
• Collaborate with the executive team on business strategy and growth.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years as HO a software or data engineer.
• Proven track record as a technological lead in a previous company, focusing on driving innovation and leading engineering teams.
• Strong technical background in AI, particularly in Gen AI and AI agents.
• Experience in B2C or B2SMB sectors (a significant advantage).
• Experience working in a startup environment (an advantage).
• Previous experience as a founder or CTO (an advantage).

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Machine Learning (ML).
• Hands-on experience in Generative AI.
• Strong business orientation.
• Deep experience in large scale software engineering.
