Principal BackEnd Developer (AI Focus)

An innovative fintech startup is looking for a highly skilled BackEnd Developer with a strong orientation towards AI solutions to join the comany.

Responsibilities

• Champion the creation and enforcement of data governance policies that prioritize data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Design and deploy AI and machine learning solutions that enable intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and personalized user experiences in line with the organization's strategic goals.
• Leverage deep technical knowledge across architecture, coding, features, and operations to drive continuous product enhancements and ensure optimal performance.
• Craft clean, efficient, and well-documented code in [specify languages, e.g., Python, Java, C++], contributing to the development of high-quality software solutions.
• Enhance backend systems for optimal speed and efficiency, ensuring smooth data flow and reliable storage solutions.
• Build and implement APIs and services that facilitate real-time data processing and support scalable, responsive applications.
• Lead the development of end-to-end features, guiding them from initial research and concept to final production deployment.
• Stay at the forefront of AI and backend technology trends, continuously updating your knowledge to incorporate the latest advancements into your work.

Qualifications

• Background in Military Service: Over 5 years of experience in special units, or Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive Experience in Software Development: A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in software development roles.
• Expertise in Python and JavaScript: High proficiency in both Python and JavaScript (Essential).
• Backend Development Mastery: Strong confidence and proven experience in developing backend systems from the ground up, supported by a robust portfolio showcasing your expertise (Essential).
• Database and Cloud Proficiency: Familiarity with relational and/or non-relational database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and cloud services like AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and redis
• Familiarity with communication frameworks like Apache Kafka for microservice communication.
• Containerization Technologies: Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and related containerization technologies.
• Problem-Solving and Team Collaboration: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong track record of working effectively within a team.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and other core web technologies - advantage
• AI Frameworks and Libraries: Practical experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, and machine learning libraries.
• Machine Learning Systems: Demonstrated success in developing and scaling end-to-end machine learning systems.
• Startups/High-Tech Environment: At least 5 years of experience in fast-paced startups or high-tech companies.
• Familiarity with wealth management - advantage
• Vector DB knowledge - advantage
• Financial Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with financial markets and services, particularly in the financial industry, is an advantage
