Analytical Chemist for Wet Solution Analyzers

Job description:

Developing automated process analyzers, using electro-chemical, and spectroscopic methods, for the monitoring of chemical solutions used in semiconductors manufacturing.  

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, characterization and support, of high sensitivity measurement instrumentation for analyzing chemical solutions.
• Design, execute and analyze of local laboratory and remote (external labs) experiments.
• Develop deep knowledge of analytical techniques used in in-line and on-line chemical analyzers
• Propose new analytical methods to better support applications in an increasing performance requirement semiconductors processes
•  Run mathematical algorithms (e.g. “chemometrics”) to support spectroscopic solution for chemical analysis.
• Prepare reports on developments, methods for release to customers
• Work with engineering team towards design and development of commercial analyzers
• Support equipment and/or chemical troubleshooting activities of worldwide customers
• Travel to international customer sites for new applications qualifications, installations, support, or technical training when required
• Implement Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in an analytical lab
• Provide technical support and participate in trouble-shooting for the company’s production line.
• Participate in the development of new measurement devices, and in the continuous-improvement of existing products.
• Analyze, compare and optimize different hardware designs, calibration methods, algorithms and integration procedures used in the company’s products.

The job requires very close team work with all engineering and sales person of the company in Israel and abroad as well as independent work.

Qualifications

·      Minimum MSc in Chemistry / Physical-chemist / Electro-Chemist engineering.

·      At least 4 years industrial experience.

·      Proficiency in electrochemistry and analytical chemistry techniques.

·      Strong mathematical skills.

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including presentation abilities for customer interactions.

·      Willingness to travel internationally.

·      Advantage for applicants with practical experience in manufacturing semiconductors wet processes
