Production Engineer and Assembly Expert

We're looking for a Production Engineer (NPI) and Assembly Expert for Electro-Mechanical Systems at a leading space production company!

Job responsibilities:

Accompany engineering development and design processes and contribute to improving the producibility

Define manufacturing technologies (translate engineering requirements into production and assembly processes) and write routing sheets and work instructions

Establish and lead electro-mechanical assembly and integration processes for systems

Perform assembly, inspection, and testing of complex systems

Requirements:

• Experience and understanding of the ability to support the engineering process (design feedback, configuration management, etc)
• Proven experience defining manufacturing and assembly processes and supporting part manufacturers
• Proven experience in the assembly and integration of electro-mechanical systems
• Knowledge and experience in quality requirements and processes, including working according to Route cards and signing off on assembly stages
• Ability to read and understand English drawings and documents
• Graduate of a relevant course and certification in the Air Force or an aerospace and defense company - an advantage
• Experience working in a high-cleanliness environment (clean room) - an advantage
• Experience performing basic electrical assemblies (routing harnesses, connecting electrical plugs, etc.) - an advantage
