Superfruiter, a startup developing unique, patented melon varieties characterized by multiple fruits, increased yield, and smaller sizes, is seeking a Laboratory Manager.

The development is based on a one-gene seed by the prestigious "Volcani Center" and focuses on enhancing personal-sized melon production.

Personal-sized melons are meeting the growing demands from global retailers and gourmet kitchens for a sustainable, new innovative exotic fruit for modern families that wish to reduce food waste and to the grab-and-go lifestyle adopters.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Management, Biology, Chemistry, or Biotechnology, and five years of experience in laboratory management, or a Master’s degree with three years of experience.

-Team management skills with employees from diverse backgrounds.

-Procurement and inventory management abilities.

-High analytical and organizational skills.

-Capacity to work under pressure and collaborate with breeding teams, subordinates, and management.

-Oversee seed inventory and ensure quality control throughout the lab processes including seed cutting, PCR testing, and sorting.
