Lab Engineer - 724

Valve Medical, a medical device start up company, a sister company of Medinol, is hiring a Lab Engineer!

In this role, you will be a major contributor as part of the R&D fluid mechanical lab team, responsible for the development of a cardiac technology medical device product.

Reporting to R&D mechanical lab team manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Lead the mechanical design aspects of the fluid mechanical lab.
2. Developing, design & manufacture of the product hydrodynamics and mechanical testing.
3. Manage the product hydrodynamics, mechanical, fatigue, durability and verification testing.
4. Conduct experiments, analyze data and generate reports using statistical analysis.
5. Interfaces with vendors, component selection, manufacturing and assembly.
6. “Hands on” design and testing execution.

Basic Qualifications

1. Education - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. 1-2 years of mechanical product development experience.
3. Highly Experienced at Solid Works CAD software.

Preferred Knowledge, Languages, Skills, And Abilities

1. Experience in multidisciplinary design, including: mechanical, HW and software.
2. Advantage: prior experience with software’s such as: Lab View and Phyton
3. Languages: English – Proficient; Hebrew – Fluent
4. Skills: Team player, responsible, creative, organized, able to work in a dynamic environment
