Our start-up is looking for an experienced and self-driven experienced Data Scientist proficient in machine learning, Time series, and deep learning models.

This is an opportunity to join our amazing team, which just received its first investment. The position is initially for equity and salary. 

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist proficient in ML, NLP, and DL models at a CTO level 

As an AI Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing AI models and algorithms that support the Menthoda matchmaking process. 

Day-to-day tasks will include data processing, model training, optimization and tuning, and deployment of models using cloud platforms. Additionally, the AI Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, data sources, and model requirements.

Role Description

As an AI Specialist, you will be responsible for architecting, advising, and optionally developing AI models and algorithms that support the Menthoda matchmaking process. Ongoing work will include data processing, model training, optimization and tuning. Additionally, the AI Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, data sources, and model requirements.

This is a Full-time remote/hybrid role as AI Specialist at Menthoda. As part of the team, you will contribute to the seamless matchmaking process using advanced AI technology

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Science and Machine Learning algorithms for classification, regression, clustering
• Experience with designing AI-based matchmaking recommendation systems
• Experience with NLP, LLM, RAG
• Design and develop an integration with external data sources including data scraping and structuring. Proficient in REST APIs, JS, interactive login
• Proficient in Python and one or more of the following frameworks: TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science or related
• Background with building AI based recommendation systems
• Experience with scraping APIs and Structure Data
• 8+ years experience with AI/ML
• 8+ years experience with Python
• Experience with NLP
• Experience with Kafka (advantage)
• Experience with docker (advantage)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• Understanding of startup ecosystems and fundraising processes
• Experience with graph databases (advantage)
