C++ Software Engineer

A startup company that has developed advanced hardware architecture for data analytics acceleration on-chip.

The role is for a Senior RT C++ Developer to join the development team. Responsibilities include designing and implementing software across different layers for the analytics accelerator, developing infrastructure and applications for the company's analytics solution, designing and developing interfaces for hardware accelerators in Linux user-space, and troubleshooting issues with databases and distributed systems. The position involves working closely with system architects.

The company is located in Tel Aviv and operates on a hybrid model with two days of remote work per week. The team consists of around 100 employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure and applications for high performance analytics computing solution.

• Design and develop interfaces for the accelerator HW in Linux user-space.

• Analyze and solve complex problems from the fields of modern databases and distributed computation systems.

• Optimize software performance.

• Utilize cutting-edge technology and make it accessible for users

• Work closely with system architects to achieve best overall system performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science

• 5+ years of experience with modern C++ RT Software development

• Experience with interfacing directly with HW

• Familiar with Linux OS and tools

• Deep understanding of computer system architecture

• Great debugging skills in a variety of environments including those closer to hardware

• Independent, self-motivated and fast learner
