Head of Product

About the role

Crowded is looking for a Senior Product Manager with Fintech experience to join our global team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy and growth for our innovative financial platform by leveraging product, business and customer data to inform product decisions, measure success, and prioritize initiatives.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, compliance, customer success and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of our product. Your deep understanding of the Fintech landscape and passion for creating user-centric solutions will be crucial in shaping the future of our platform.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs.
• Build and refine product processes and best practices to promote healthy product growth and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and launch of new features and enhancements.
• Continuously conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, inform product decisions and drive business impact.
• Gather and prioritize product requirements based on business needs, user feedback, and market trends.
• Develop detailed product specifications and user stories to guide the product and engineering team.
• Continuously monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and iterate on features to improve user satisfaction and business outcomes.
• Act as a product evangelist, both internally and externally, to promote the value and benefits of our platform.
• Foster a customer-centric culture within the team, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs and pain points.
• Demonstrate impact with metrics, showcasing the ability to drive business outcomes through data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the Fintech industry.
• Expert in Product Requirement Documentation (PRD) and Product Roadmaps 
• Proven track record of successfully managing and launching complex digital products.
• Deep understanding of Fintech trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs and data into actions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Experience working in the fintech ecosystem, managing the creation of digital banking products (particularly open banking or Banking as a Service APIs)
• Understanding of both web and mobile oriented products, and interaction between them
• Appreciate feedback and value honest, thoughtful critique
• Perform well in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Advantage: Experience with fintech products managing both SaaS and transactional monetization strategies  
• Advantage: Experience with working in the nonprofit sector.
