Team8 Fintech-Analyst

Team8 is hiring an exceptional Analyst to its Fintech Foundry. In this role, you will support Team8’s company creation initiatives, ideation, and validation processes, through research and analysis tasks. Your expertise will be instrumental in addressing significant market opportunities, establishing category-leading companies, and enhancing their likelihood of success. As such, you will work closely with the Fintech leadership team, and the portfolio companies’ founders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to support ideation processes, encompassing the exploration of problems and opportunities, competitive landscape analysis, market sizing, product exploration, etc.
• Participate in and extract valuable insights from the validation process of newly created companies, large data sets, internal and external sources, aiding in crystallizing opportunities and drawing conclusions
• Provide business analysis support to the foundry’s portfolio companies, guiding them in reaching product-market fit
• Help us make data-driven decisions utilizing analytical tools
• Support the foundry’s day-to-day activities, including business operations, business development, and its core strategic initiatives
  
  

• Previous experience in Business or Market Research / Data & Analytics / VC / Consulting roles, preferably with experience in evaluating market opportunities, and conducting competitive landscapes
• Someone who is curious, hard-working, analytical, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy with a “can do” attitude
• Native English (spoken and written), feels comfortable writing documents and presentations in English
• Comfortable jumping from one topic to another
• A passion and understanding of technology across different verticals and industries
• Team player with a collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with data-driven approach
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Prior experience in the Fintech domain, performance marketing or with data and analytics tools is a plus
