Senior Backend Developer - SaaS

malanta.ai is a new startup in the cyber security space. We are a growing team, still in stealth mode, with a goal to redefine how defenders protect and secure their assets. We have a lot of experience in building solutions and bringing unique value to customers in the business and government sectors. What you will bring to the team

• You have 5+ years of hands-on experience as a SaaS application backend developer
• You master backend languages such as Python, Java, Node.JS
• You have a deep understanding in databases including architectures and technologies (DynamoDB, DocumentDB, SQL, GraphDB).
• You think, speak, build and maintain APIs. API-First is your way of life.
• You have a solid and demonstrable practice in public and private cloud platforms.
• You are a problem solver AND a problem preventer - You appreciate crafting clean, well documented and maintainable code.
• You are a learner and you enjoy learning new stuff
• You like being one of a kind but at the same time you need the company of others to thrive.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Design, develop, and implement complex backend systems for our SaaS application.
• Build high-performance, secure APIs that seamlessly integrate with our frontend and other services.
• Optimize and maintain existing codebase, ensuring peak performance and efficiency.
• Practice all software development life cycle in agile oriented environment.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Stay on top of the latest backend technologies and trends, constantly innovating and improving our platform.
• Contribute to the entire team from your professional experience and make sure we are on the right track.
