Systems Engineer – Algorithm-Driven Product

About the Position: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Engineer to join our growing team.  You will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge in-car product systems. In this role, you will leverage your systems engineering expertise to design, specify, integrate, and validate complex systems destined for the automotive industry. You will work closely with our US-based team to ensure seamless collaboration and successful product delivery. 

Responsibilities: 

• Define, analyze, and translate customer requirements into system requirements specific to in-car product development, adhering to automotive industry standards and regulations. 
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive system architecture for the in-car product, ensuring optimal integration of hardware, software, and mechanical components. 
• Strong ability to create clear, detailed, and accurate system requirements documents and technical specifications for computer vision algorithms. 
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and quality assurance professionals, both locally and in the US, to ensure all aspects of the in-car product development process are aligned. 
• Participate in technical discussions and provide guidance to ensure clear communication and knowledge transfer between the local and US teams. 
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in automotive technology and relevant regulatory requirements. 
• Document system specifications, designs, test requirements and results for future reference and knowledge sharing. 
• Knowledge of computer vision algorithms and techniques, such as Deep learning, Machin learning and classical vision. 

What Are We Looking For: 

• BSc in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer, or a relevant field) 
• 5+ years of proven experience in systems engineering. Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage. 
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and integrating multi-disciplinary systems. Experience with automotive systems is an advantage. 
• Proven experience working with writing system requirements documents for computer vision algorithms-based products. 
• Experience with product grade development process. Experience with automotive development processes and industry standards and regulations is an advantage.   
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on achieving optimal system performance and safety. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to foster effective teamwork across geographical boundaries. 
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. 
• Fluency in English for seamless communication with the US team.
